• Must be at least 18 years old.
• The work will require contact with plants and soil possibly in dusty, hot and humid greenhouses or growth chambers.
• Ability to lift regularly up to 50 pounds of weight.
• Requires walking and standing 80% of the time.

ENKO is seeking a part-time Greenhouse Technician to support the greenhouse team by completing daily tasks aimed to plant production for experimental use.

This position will work approximately 20 hours per week.

• Work with the greenhouse team to support weekly tasks including preparing soil and pots for planting, transplanting small seedling, harvest and threshing plants and seed cleaning.
• Complete routine logistic organization by assisting in shipping and receiving material, restocking of greenhouse and planting supplies.
• Housekeeping of several working areas and spaces including discarding plant and soil material according to required procedures, cleaning greenhouse benches and floors, and managing waste disposal.
• Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Restocking of greenhouse and planting supplies
• Washing trays and planting utensils
• Mixing soil
• Filling pots for plantings
• Discarding greenhouse assays
• Vacuuming, soaping flood tables and greenhouses floors
• Trash removal
• Greenhouse screen, window and drain cleaning
• Seed harvesting and cleaning
• Receiving and delivery of packages

Completed High School (minimum) and/or above.
